There’s no doubt 2020 has been a very challenging year for everyone in all aspects of life. In spite of the many challenges, we have been able to provide safe and fun training while maneuvering this pandemic.
In light of this, World Athletics is recognizing Clubs around the world for their achievements. We are very proud to be recognized by the World Athletics with the ATHLETES COMMUNITY AWARD!
This award is to recognize Athletics Clubs around the world for providing athletes with essential support throughout the pandemic. Congrats to BOOST for this achievement!
BOOST for Mental Health

Join us to help raise awareness and confront youth mental health!
Hey BOOST Family and Friends, every year RBC hosts events locally and globally in support of mental health and other youth initiatives.
This year with Covid-19 impacting every household, our youth are subjected to unprecedented mental health challenges due to the Pandemic.
We want to support those in need and what a better way than for the BOOST family to get involved.
We have started a virtual team, BOOST for Mental Health.
Anyone can participate by running, walking, jogging, wheeling or scootering 5K on October 16th or 17th, virtually.
The best part is, it is free. If you choose to, you can also raise funds for this worthy cause.
These funds will go to the Family Navigation Project at Sunnybrook Hospital.
It is an innovative program that connects young people struggling with mental illness and addiction to get the help they so desperately need.
So join us and help give back to the community!

BOOST Adjusting to a Different Outdoor Season
There’s no doubt that this year has been quite challenging for all of us in every aspect of life. The sporting world has been impacted just as much. As a youth sports club, we strive to offer an environment that is fun, challenging and rewarding. One where the kids can learn and mature and gain confidence in their abilities.
Although we were sidelined for 4 months, once given the approval from local health and sport organizations, we resumed practices. Under the guidance and recommendations of those organizations BOOST has been safely practicing to keep the kids engaged.
The athletes have not only been working hard and consistent in practice, but some have also been competing. Many of them even posting Personal Records in their various events.
The Coaching Staff and Board of Directors would like to take this time to congratulate all the hard working individuals and hope to continue to provide a safe and fun environment for all.
Recently, BOOST competed at a local competition in Hamilton, ON. See the news article linked below.

Disruption of training due to COVID-19
During this time of uncertainty, we have suspended all group training. This is in accordance to Athletics Ontario’s and Athletics Canada’s position with regards to the COVID-19 crisis. We will continue to follow closely with AO and AC decisions and will update accordingly.
In the interim, you are encouraged to remain active. If you so choose, the coaches have some training plans you can follow. Please contact either of the coaches if interested. These are optional workouts.
Hope everyone is staying safe and keeping busy!!
